What a wonderful week we have had in Room 2!

Our first week is finished and it was a great time of getting to know the routine and getting to know each other. We have 17 very wonderful children who are working hard to learn about Kindergarten. These last 3 days we have learned alot about getting in a line, raising our hands, sharing ourselves and sharing the time we have together. It has been great! We are learning some poems and the Pledge of Allegiance to our American flag. On Thursday we went to PE for the first time and our teacher is Mr. Spitzer. We got to have center time two days this week. Centers are different activities that happen at the same time in our room. Each of our 4 groups is doing something different. Then we trade and do another activity! One girl said, Oh, this is the bestest part of Kindergarten!" Mrs. Bruno thinks so, too! It gives children a chance to explore one activity independently, while someone else is learning something new. Here are some pictures of us working in center on Friday. Can you find each person in our class?
