Reading in Kindergarten!

The children in Room 2 have been learning some sight words and then learning word families, so they can reads lots of books now! We ususally read them together, read them with a partner, and read them independently. The children then, take them home to share with their families. The more children read and practice the words they know, the better readers they become. Please take the time as parents (or grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, etc.) to listen to your child read these little books they bring home. I hope they read each book until you are sick of it!!
