Kindergarten is changing and growing!

It has been a very hectic couple of weeks! We have started the core of our new reading program and we are working hard!! The class has begun concentrating on the letter sounds and the introduction of the lowercase letters. We have had the letters Mm and Ss and next Monday we will start on Rr. The kids are learning the color words, and have 2 new sight words--'I' and 'see'. It is alot of work for them and if you remember from the beginning of school, I can only introduce most of it. Then they need to practice what they are learning at home. Please take time everyday to check your child's backpack and see what they have to share. Also, review the skills from the week that I share in the Friday Folder.

  • I'm a grandma to one of your students and I thank you for sharing your class with us. We do not live in Glendive so it's wonderful to see what is happening with our grandson in school. The web site also helps us to know what we should be asking him about. Keep up the great work. JA
