This is the beginning of a typical day in Room 2! We come in and get our pencil boxes and chairs set up for the day. Then we go to the carpet and do the calendar and the weather for the day. Alex was our calendar helper this past week and Trinity was the weather helper. We do a lot of math during this time of the day. (Like: We have more sunny days that cloudy days. 6 is more than 1. 10 is after 9 and before 11. Only 7 more days until St. Patrick's Day and 10 more until the 1st day of spring!) This is also the time of day when we share what is happening in our lives. It is very important to know when children are loosing teeth, learning to ride bikes, getting new baby brothers, and going to Grandma's house!
