The First Day!

We have completed the first day of our 2007-2008 school year and I would say it was a great success! The children learned many, many things about Lincoln School and the routines that we will follow this year. Our classroom rules made a big impression on most of them. The rules are:

1. Never hurt anyone on the inside or the outside.

2. Always walk.

3. Listen to others.

4. Stay in your own space.
We ended our day with some Lego play. It was grand to hear things like, "Can we trade these 2 parts?" and "Oh, that is good!" One great part of Kindergarten is being able to see the good in other. Another is learning to share. What a wonderful start we have on those!!
