Mrs. Begger and Tate

Mrs Begger came to school this week to help us learn about Tate, the cancer he has and how we can help him stay healthy in Room 2. She told us lots of important things, but the most important were ways to help us not spread germs around to others. We are going to wash our hands many times a day, especially after we go to the bathroom. We are going to use hand sanitizer to help us kill germs between washing. She shared with us a way that Tate keeps germs out of his body by using a mask. She even brought a mask for each of us to keep! We tried them on and will keep them at school so we can wear them when Tate is wearing his. Mrs. Begger brought us each a color book about a boy named Sammy who had a friend named Jack who had cancer. She also brought us a book mark that was very special.
