Free Choice Time!
As children finish assignments in Room 2, they are allowed to go and do "Free Choice Activities". The children who quickly finish their seat work can go on and learn or explore other situations. These activities change every couple of days so that children can try new activities. Here are pictures of a couple of the activities that were available to children this week! They could read books we have read together as a class or play with the discovery bottles. These bottles are part of the science exploration that we do and are designed to use the children's senses. There are things like oil and water in one bottle, different materials that sound different when you shake them, and some with dirt, sand, gravel and water so children can watch it settle. There are some that have metal things in them to use with magnets. The children love this activity!
